Now, we are presented with a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reimagine Moda Center, securing the future of the Trail Blazers in Portland and establishing Oregon as a leading destination for sports and live events.
Authenticity
Since its opening, Moda Center has reflected Oregon’s values and culture by showcasing local artists, sourcing local food, and creating a space where everyone is welcome to be themselves. A renovation builds on that legacy, transforming the arena into a venue that is unmistakably Portland, while meeting the evolving needs of fans, artists, and the community.
Fan Experience
A reimagined Moda Center will elevate the fan experience from the moment they arrive, with welcoming entrances, transformed concourses, and vibrant social gathering spaces that keep everyone connected to the action.
Upgraded seating, enhanced lighting, and modern audio and video systems will create a more immersive experience, while improved back-of-house infrastructure will help continue to support global tours and iconic performances.
Sustainability & accessibility
Sustainability and accessibility remain central to the vision. Building on Moda Center’s LEED Platinum legacy, renovations will advance energy efficiency, climate resilience, and inclusive design, creating a place that reflects Oregon’s values and sets the stage for the next chapter, where our future comes together.
